We want to move the location of the RAT software from one PC to another. We do not have CD writers on our PCs. Any suggestions?

Dear Simon,
The most crucial file is: INR.MDB.This is the database file.
This is stored in the folder:
C:\Program files\Rat Version 3
Copy this onto a floppy or if larger than 1.4MB use winzip to copy across more than one floppy.
Or alternatively, copy it across your practice network to the PC you will be using.

On the new PC, install RAT from a CD or directly from the internet. Make sure any CD install is updated to v3.692 using the latest update from the website.

Once installed, copy your INR.MDB file into the new PC folder.
This will overwrite the blank database with all your current patients.

Regards
Colm Rafferty
