I have read your reply regarding networking RAT could you please tell me if we load it onto the server on global drive can we then use any PC to access and edit results as long as we restrict it to one person accessing at any one time

Yes, you install RAT on a PC and access the INR.MDB file on the global server.
RAT is setup that only one user can addd/modify/delete data at any one time, although more than one user can view at any one time.
