5 day reveiw

Patients with a low INR are dose adjusted then given a 5 day recall. THis is very awkward as we do a weekly clinic. I have now entered 'weekly clinic-thurdsday' on RAT. Will that solve the problem? ie make minimum recall 1 week

Dear Ruth,

Using the named day of the week in RAT allows regular reviews to fall on that date. Exceptions are when earlier reviews are required e.g. on starting warfarin or following a very high INR i.e. > 5.5

If a patient comes on an unscheduled day by accident and they are to be reviewed in one week the date will be for the next or subsequent clinic day.

I hope this makes sense
