We are having problems with new patients. We can add them to the system but when we try to access their records, RAT locks when "searching for previous INR results."

There is no problem with old patients.

Also, an attempt to search teh archive brings up a run-time error 3040 Disk i/o error during read.

Any suggestions?

Can I ask you to update to v3.7
You can get the latest update from: [www.formulae.co.uk]
If you are using more than one PC, make sure you update all PCs.
Double-click the downloaded file. Make sure RAT is not running when you do this.

Finally, restart RAT. Go to top menu -> Database ->Utilities
A menu will appear.
Choose repair database
