How do you audit the new updated standard (standard 7 in Table 6 of the British Committee for Standards in Haematology 1998 ) which I have seen on bcshguidlines.com ?

The standard is now time-in-range (i.e. 2-3 for AF) of 60% .

Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
I am aware that this is been a way of auditing INRs.

They do not mention the time frame for the time in range i.e. is it measured over 1, 3, 6 12 month?
I will have a look at how to setup the analysis for this.


I already have the 'patients within range' on a monthly basis audit.
So if a patient does not have their INR in that particular month or has one or more INRs and all within range they are deemed within range for that month.
It is a hybrid of the 'time within range' and 'INRs within range'.
