Robertsons Chemist. I have downloaded the program but cannot get it to run. It keeps asking to unzip files which I say yes to and this appears to be successful.

Dear David,
After you run the update file, can you go to the 'C:\Program files\RAT version 3' folder and double-click the 'Red RAT' icon.
This should start RAT correctly.
You can make a shortcut of this file on your desktop by right clicking on the RAT icon and then selecting 'Make a shortcut' and then copy this newlt created short file to your desktop.

I still seem to be running on the initial 120 day evaluation. I am concerned about loss of information. Is the RAT program automatically backed up when I back up the PC ?

My registration number is ****** . I need the software not to lock-up after the evaluation.

Dear David,
At this stage I am assuming that you have not entered your registration number.
The registration number unlocks the software.
Go to the top menu in RAT.
Choose Help -> Registrating RAT
Enter your name and the registration number.

All the patient data is stored in a file called: INR.MDB
You can find it at 'C:\Program files\RAT version 3'

If you want to store it elsewhere as a backup use a floppy disk or data key, and on a regular basis make a copy of it.
