Thank you for your query.
The 'red magnet' icon on the top toolbar gives the list of patients due for INR.
Defaulters are always at the top of this list, so overdue INRs are easy to see.

RAT does not use 0.5mg tabs nor 5mg tabs, only blue(3mg) and brown(1mg)

Sorry, I wasnt clear re the 0.5mg in my last e mail.I meant to ask is it possible to avoid 0.5mg doses as im not sure all of our patients will be able to halve the tablets- or is this very easy to do? Its not something we do with our current manual system
thankyou

RAT only uses 0.5mg doses when the weekly INR is less than 7mg per week.
In this case, yes you would have to split the tablets, so that each day has a warfarin dose.

Otherwise it is in whole numbers.
The only other time it is in 0.5mg doses is it you change the standard setup to use only 3mg tablets (not 1mg), in which case halved them to get sensitive dose increments means you get .5 doses.

When you do the recall for patients overdue INRs is there a way to identiy names over a specific date/time period instead of every patient name on the register appearing on the list?

Thanks.

Dear Alison,
Only only way to see overdue patients is by clicking on the 'red magnet' on the toolbar.
This shows all the review dates in date order.
You can reduce this list to patients only due and overdue for the next week by clicking to the setup screen ('cup and pens' icon on the toolbar ) .
Click on the 'Practice' tab
The option is 'Display review dates for'
Set this to 1 up to 12 weeks
