PLEASE HELP

Our RAT system does not appear to be bringing up any patients, it keeps asking for re-evaluation. Subscription is paid up to date, it was paid in October.

Dear Catherine,

It sounds that you have lost the link to the main database file called INR.MDB

RAT is now reading the local INR.MDB file which probably has no patient information.

Your INR.MDB file may be stored somewhere on your server.



In a normal RAT installation the INR.MDB file is stored at 'C:\Program files\Rat Version 3'

Some practices copy this file to a shared folder somewhere on the server.

This has the advantage of keeping it safe and secure.

Unfortunately in your case the link to this INR.MDB file has been lost.



So the first stage is to find this INR.MDB file.

I am assuming it is somewhere on the server.



If you can find it, you need to re-link to it

Go to the top menu in RATand choose 'Database'

A submenu will appear

Choose 'network database'
A window will appear

From there you can drill down to the folder on the server where the INR.MDB file is stored.
