Registration number incorrect

We have been trialing v2.01. We received disk for v3.4 - thanks.
Entering the registration number on letter you sent 22.6.01 brings up message - reg no incorrect!

A colleague more skilled than i installed the trial copy on our server and 3 networked PC's. Is the problem to do with this? We are a GPASS practice using windows 98.
